An update!

*ahem* Okay. Hope I don't sound too preachy, but I thought I'd share my thoughts on this, especially my own personal experiences and feelings so far.

(Haha it's like 3.17am now xD But it's Saturday! So who cares =p)

It is so easy to backslide when you're away from home, away from your original church, away from your fellow Christian friends.

It is so easy to backslide when there are temptations all around and when peer pressure surrounds you. I mean, seriously.

It has actually tugged at my mind to skip church, but I've still been going (heck, I've been to 3 different churches since I arrived here xD). One reason is cuz the churches are all quite far, and I have to wake up early and walk quite a distance xD But thank God that Clement and Eunice (aunty Iris's son, who got married last year, I think.. Remember him?) have offered to pick me up at an MRT station which is only 3 stops away from my nearest MRT station =)

The name of the church is Pasir Panjang Hill Brethren Church (or PPH for short xD).. There are basically 2 main English services.. The first one (as Eunice explained) is somewhat a little more traditional, and yeah, it more or less reminded me of worship service back home in Grace Chapel xD As for the 2nd service, which I attended last Sunday, the worship is more contemporary, and the songs too. I'm still deciding which service to attend.

I haven't found a youth yet. Actually there's been this girl from the first youth I went to, called Culture Youth from Centre of New Life church, who has been SMSing me and asking me if I'm going for youth, and I always feel so bad cuz I can't go cuz my mom won't let me. The reason is because they finish at around 7pm, and then by the time I get home it will be dark and my mom doesn't like the idea of me walking home alone in the dark. So yeah =( I feel so bad...

Uh, school life, on the other hand, has been quite hectic. A lot of projects, like oh my gosh! T.T Busy busy.. and then like everytime have to buy things >=( Oh well. Sighs.
